This month the trial period for Bank Junction is due to come to an end.
Over the past year, we have witnessed first hand the difference in the traffic situation, as regards the closure of Bank Junction. This has not been helped by increasing roadworks in the area.
Our UCG rep Jamie, along with other org reps, has had numerous meetings with the City of London putting our case across as to why cabs should be allowed to use the junction. Businesses within the square mile have also added weight to the argument, stating that clients have been made late for meetings etc.
We are hoping for a positive outcome and will keep you informed of the decision that is made. While delicate negotiations have been taking place we thought it unwise to call for demonstrations. However, we do not rule this out in future if the decision does not go our way
